Abstract

Teacher competency includes pedagogical competence, personal competence, social competence, and professional competence. Pedagogic competence with regard to the science of educating children. Pedagogical competence provides an overview of how a teacher should act or behave in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Teaching and learning process involving teachers and students in the classroom and outside the classroom related to the motivation of learners. Through a child's ability to motivate pedagogical competence can be applied by teachers well. High motivation in self-learners can optimize its ability in the process of teaching and learning.
